I put in a claim on my rims and tyres policy early Jan after damaging my rear wheels en route home from holiday. I've been running from one place to another trying getting reports and quotes for more than 3 weeks. I got a much better quote from a company other than TWT for the rims and tyres and they said that's fine but I have to pay and then send them the quotes and invoice AND have the damaged rims couriered to them.

I asked them about cancelling the policy because it is far too much work for the small amount they pay out. I've had the policy for a month and had no claim pay-out yet. They cannot tell me if I will get refunded or not. I have to go through the cancellation and wait for 21 days before I can find out. What happens if I cancel and they don't refund, even if it's prorated for the remaining term?

I'm very disappointed with Innovation Group. It seems their strategy is to make a claim as difficult as possible and make you feel like a criminal so you don't want to claim or just give haflway. I want to cancel this policy and want my money back. They can take their 1 month's prorated portion, I don't care.
