My van tyres and sound system was on Thursday Night 23 January. My claim was submitted to Renasa on the 24th together with the quotes they requested. Firstly I had only got a hired car on Tuesday. Seondly I gave them a quote for the amount of R8300 for my rims anf tyres and R6000 for my sound system.
They are only paying me R4500.00 for my sound (R500 was excess) and for the tyres she took out 50% because I did not give her prof of purchase. Had numerous emails form ger in to regards to this even threatening to take take the hired car back if proof of purchase was not given to her. She only wants to pay me R1395 for my rims and tyres (R2800 was excess) which I wouldnt even get one tyre with that amount. Car hire company is already phoning me to take the car back because they were told that my claim was paid as I was only paid for the sound system.
