I called SA-Warranties this morning (03 December 2013) to enquire if UPC is covered in the policy, and i was transferred to a guy called Ian Fraser who confirmed that the part is covered under Management System; i then called the dealership to confirm that the part is covered to go ahead to fix my car, but they were later told that part is not covered when they submit the claim. i then called to find out why the claim is not paid and asked to speak to Ian, who denied that he spoke to me. i called Bassie to ask for advice cause i was told the part is insured but he refused and said it can't be paid cause is not covered, i asked him why was told its covered at first before i claim, and he said he doesn't know and can't help but what he knows is the part is not covered. how can someone call to enquire about something and be told is covered and later when the claim is submitted for the same issue, then told the part is not covered?
Why do i have to fight with this insurance company every-time when they have to pay for claims i make while i pay my premiums every month for 7 years? is this kind of treatment SA-Warranties give to their loyal customers?
i need them to honour their promise
