On Sat 17 November 2012 they broke into my house. The polices response was excellent. We gave our statement and on Monday 19 November I contacted Auto & General and logged my claim. After numerous attempts and telephonic conversations they came back to say I am committing and that my policy has been cancelled. Needless to say I was stunned and Aleena that was working on the claim had a terribly attitude. I then contacted the complaints department and spoke to Khanyile who put me in touch with Jason. Up until today they just keep saying that they are working on the issue and it will be resolved at the end of the day - as you can see it has STILL NOT been resolved. I am now going to have to take this matter up with consumer watch if this is not settle within the next 24 hours. My character has very rudly and whithout any proof what-so-ever been brought into question which is totally unacceptable. The managing team is very slack in resolving the issue as when they told me to submit new evidence I did it immediately and they have been sitting on it since 11 January 2013. I am the one phoning them all the time as they have no interest what-so-ever in getting back to me.
