Claim Refused because A&G can't keep record!!!

I have a standalone vehicle touch-up policy from A&G since 1 Novermber 2012. In accordance with the policy agreement, there will be a 90 day waiting period from the inisiation of the policy until a claim will be allowed. In February 2013 I contacted A&G to claim for a dent on my car, only to hear that my policy has only been active from January 2013, and accordingly, I am within the waiting period and cannot claim. This is an error on A&G's side, one which they still have not fixed after countless phone calls and emails. The debit order for the policy has been deducted since the beginning of Nov 2012 (and is still being deducted without any default for any month on this policy), being proof of the activation of the policy, in addition to the actual policy document that I have stating that the policy will be effective from 1 November 2012, which also acts as proof of the activation date.
