On November 7th I cancelled my business card because somebody has made a use of it on October 18th. When I was cancelling the card I was told I was going to be given a reference number. The phone line suddenly was cut off. Because the other person on the line didn't try to call me back I called again to make sure the card had been cancelled. It had. Then I asked for a new card. Because I didn't have a reference number I had to go to my branch. The same day I went to my branch to order the new card. On November 19 after not having received any news from Nedbank, I called Nedbank to ask what happened. They told me no card order was on the system. So I went back to my branch and order the card again. Today, November 27th I called my branch to ask if my card had arrived. It hadn't. No card order was on their system. They called the card division and found out it was the division which should have ordered the card. My branch told me that now it had been finally resolved and that I would have my new card in 3-5 working days.
All in all, today is 20 days with no business card. I'm a tour operator who organises trips overseas. I rely 100% on my business card to pay hotel
