Illegally Processing Extra Payment to Benefit MFC

Firstly, MFC does not respond to my emails advising of extra payments in the advised times. They say 24 - 48 hours but they never stick to this and I always need to follow up with the contact center to find our if they got the email and if it was processed and taken affect on my account.

Secondly, even though I have clearly advised them that these extra payments should reduce my term, they still go ahead an make them reduce my premium. I got debited less this month which in an interest perspective will partially nullify the affect of my extra payments. This will in turn benefit MFC and not me even though extra payments is stipulate in the National Credit Act.

I can understand making a mistake but this is just poor service on the part of MFC. Their contact center agents are pathetic and MFC really needs to consider getting other people who are competent and can understand English. One tries to approach credit based transactions in a sensible way and follow advice but then agents in contact centers mess it all up!

It is so strange because at the start i was really impressed with MFC. They gave me an a amazing deal which I am super happy with BUT now this.
