I am a prestige banking customer, as of tomorrow a Private Banking customer. I called the "Prestige Banking telephonic" service to adjust my limits. I called 4 times between 8.30am and 10.30am, each time entering the secure login process, and waited 10 mins every time without having my call answer. Standard bank mention this is a premium service for customers for high earners, i cant imagine they experience such high call rates if this is a niche service. its appalling service, as I went through a unprecedented route, called my Nedbank banker instead and had the process completed using my other account in 5 mins. I have a "Private banking kick off" tomorrow and I hope paying more for Standard bank service premiums will get me better service! great service from standard bank on my own birthday too.
