It is with great sadness that I type out this complaint about a bank I once loved and convinced my whole family to join. FNB is unfortunately not at the top of its game anymore. My experience is as follows:

Since I moved to Sun City Resort in the North West, I have had issues with FNB ATM's which are almost always out of money or out of order. This forces one to use the other available ATM's and incur the inherent extra charges. I also have received bad service twice; In one instance I had to go to the bank 3 TIMES!!! because my temporary card was not activated and did not register on the ATM when I tried to enter the new pin.

In the 8 times I have visited the Mogwase FNB Branch, I have never seen a Manager actively checking on the clients queuing in the lengthy queues and there is almost always an odd ratio of consultants to clients leading to hours spent at the Bank

In addition to this I was assisted by Ndumiso Ngcobo at the same branch to close my 32 day account as I am in the process of moving to another bank, only to find out that the account had not been closed as per my request.
