Closure of Revolving Credit Account not done

In November I went into the new Std Bank Branch at the Sunward Lifestyle Centre to close my Revolving Credit Account.
I transferred the settlement amount into the account and then along with a consultant closed the account - Or so I thought.
I then on the 22nd January received an account statement showing that the account had not been closed. Luckily someone in the prestige accounts that I contacted today was able to close the account finally and advised that this was meant to have been done by the branch. My question to you Std Bank, is why should I have any accounts with you, if you are even unable to process such a simple query?
Never mind have prestige consultants at the new branch, or decent working ATM's at the previous Sunward Park branch that I constantly reported. (And swallowed two of my fathers cards in two weeks) Your service is utterly terrible and I am leading to believe that these FNB adverts of *BEEP* bank are referring to Std Bank.

Even after contacting my prestige banker about changing my account type, I was told to see a branch consultant and she never personally offered to help.

After being with you for roughly 8 years I still wait for good service!
