I am appalled at the lack of customer service I have received from Absa the last couple of months.

Firstly, when you are going to get the call center agents to call me to sell products, then please inform them that it is rude to just hang up on people!! Especially when one is actually being civil towards them. Is that how it works now? You realise (due to lack of information on your side) that I don't have the funds for your Absa rewards scheme, and you respond by hanging up without any further explanation? That and your agents are so unenthusiastic. Great way to market your products.

And your help line is just as appalling and unhelpful.

I am so over this bank and it's lack of interest in their customers. There is ONE exception to the rule and that is a lady in the Montana Pretoria branch. But I'm afraid not even she can keep me with this institution.

I am no longer interested in your bank, your business, or anything affiliated with Absa. I don't associate with obnoxious, rude people and I am sure as not going to take it from you either.

And I will say it, I have received WAY better service from your competitors.
