High interest on your loan account

I am very confused, like I took out a loan with African Bank because they were quicker and I heard good things about them. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the lady who helped me was Martha in the Florida branch in Goldman she was my hero that day.

This is not so much a complaint, more of a concern and I'd really like to know why African Bank charges us so much interest to make up for their "reckless lending'? I mean I am still paying off my loan and will only be done next year June. It's ridiculous! If I had known this then I would not have even bothered to take one out.
