I was assigned a claims consultant Eugenia Chauke, who i emailed to arrange the car hire for when my car was going in (today). 1st email about 3 weeks back, 2nd email about 2 weeks back. No response. Then emailed the Discovery email and got a reply that my complaint was passed to claims - no-one called me! Then I called about 3 days ago explaining urgently i need the car hire sorted. spoke to Khanyi. Told me Eugenia was in hospital and no-one was monitoring her emails or her clients! Told me she would ensure Avis called me that day - never happened. I called yesterday afternoon in a panic and was promised by Sibu that Avis would call me and the car would be at the panel beater. Got a call at 6pm which i missed. Called the number i was told to and was on hold for an hour - no one answered. My fiancee now had to take leave this morning to take me to the panel beater and had to drop me back - the car was not delivered! I have had to miss client meetings which is revenue to me! I am furious! I got hold of Avis this morning and they are dropping off the car this afternoon. Discovery had not arranged anything with them until 5pm yesterday - too late!!! I am extremely disappointed!
