Poor Claim Management (Vehicle Repairs)

I am being made to pay for my car hire while Discovery Insure has washed their hands with regards to accepting any responsibility on behalf of the poor service received from their approved panel beater. It seems to be quite acceptable for Discovery Insure that they have now had the the vehicle in their possession for the last 7 weeks.

Surely part of the service delivery is in regard to claim management and this would include the followup and escalation of the vehicle repair services especially when I have utilised a recommended panel beater. I have no direct engagement with the panel beater and all interaction is managed via Discovery Insure and I have made numerous follow ups to ensure that my repairs are attended to prior to the expiry of the vehicle hire contract managed by Discovery Insure.

While there was an additional 14 day extension granted after the 30 Day period which I appreciate, the panel beater keeps throwing out excuses with regards to parts availability etc. and I must now bare the brunt of this poor service delivery by carrying the remainder of the vehicle hire cost and still no commitment on when my vehicle will be ready for collection.
