Re-advance interest rate on home loan

Beside bad and somewhat forceful attitude from the consultant who called me to confirm acceptance of an approved re-advance on my home loan, I was disgusted with the higher interest rate given.

Not just that, but the amount offered was lower than offered just 2 months ago, and this woman couldn't explain why, nor did she even offer to find out. What kind of pathetic client service is this?? Its the same bond, just the releasing of a percentage of it that has been locked!!

A previous consultant informed me that the interest rate may be reviewed every 6 months, yet she told me that this is fixed and not adjustable, and that this is bank policy. I've lost count on how many times I've obtained conflicting info from different consultants on certain matters. Yet they work for the same bank!

I've been a client since I started working about 13 years ago, and have even paid my bond fully within 4 years after opening it. My credit record is spotless, and my income is more than sufficient to cover this bond approved in 2004.

Really upsetting to feel that I'm not a valued client, and feeling very tempted to just cancel all my accounts and move to another bank who would take me seriously.
