Receiving a call from EDCollections

Good Day,
I received a call from EDCollections claimimng to be working for monestar and telling me that i owe moneystar money. When i ask them to supply me with statement that shows the last payment made they cannot provide. I told them why are they calling me about a prescribed debt still they cannot answer.
