Business & Finance

1st For Women has let me down so badly! After an accident in March 2013 which was at the other party's fault (confirmed by more managers after explaining the accident), I asked if I should submit a claim with my own insurance or with the other party's insurance. I was assured I would get great service and assistance, and I would get my excess back. So I submitted my claim through 1st for women. The Accident took place in March 2013.
All police reports and claims were done from my side within 24 hours.
I have still not received my R6 000 excess back, after many calls to managers at 1st for women.
My insurance premiums were increased in Nov 2013 together with everyone else's.
How can you claim to support women and "speak" our language if you don't do what you say you are going to do?
The repairer messed up, I was informed my car was ready but it had ADDITIONAL damage to it, I had to leave it there 3times.
I need to claim for my window glass, but have absolutely no faith I will get any service. I will rather delay and fix at my new insurer, putting my own safety at risk because I just can not handle all these calls (which I paid for!) and time wasted just to get nothing in return
