Standard bank has the worst banking services that i have had the displeasure of dealing with!!!
Firstly they supply me with a cheque card that has no limit on it so that when i go to draw money i am told that i have reached my daily limit of draws! I then had to go back to the branch so that this could be sorted out! this is useless because this should be done when the account is open!
The same goes with Internet banking! they set me up with this so called service at the branch and now i have to once again go back into the branch to set my transfer limit which is firstly a waste of my time and money! why can this not be done via there customer care line? There customer care line is also a huge waste of time and CELLTIME as it takes forever to speak to a consultant and by the time you do their STANDARD answer is, "this must be done in a branch"!!! Why bother having a care line if that is your response? why not have a voice recording saying, we are unable to sort out your issues, please go to your local branch! it seems to me that standard bank is just that, standard! which makes them useless!!! By far the worst service i have ever recieved! What a bunch of!!! Disgusting!!
