After a year they cxl my spouse policy

I requested a funeral policy for me and my boyfriend in October 2012 with Instant Life, and they amount was to be debited to my bank account,

Indeed that was done from October 25th 2012 up until a month back when I changed bank details - I notify Instant life to change bank details as well on their side as well.

To my surprise, after a year, to be told that my boyfriend can't be in my policy due to the fact that we are not married,

My question is: in October 2012 how come the policy was processed because we were not married even then, and money was debited in my account monthly and now in October 2013 the same policy and procedure is not the same,

Meaning that Instant life debited money on my account under false pretence,

Can they please re instate this funeral policy for the sake of my money the have debited or refund my money back as they seem to be a money making scheme -

I have sent 2 emails last week to Instant life... and Instant life haven't responded as yet, I guess they have taken my money so they don't care...
