Debited though i cancelled policy

Closing off a call, one of their agents asked for my bank details and i said i just want to view the policy. he insisted in order for it to be released i need to give them those details. i did. i did not like what i saw because it was false advertising - see my email below:
I will not be taking a policy with Instant Life since cover end sat the age of 65. For me that does not make any sense. Why pay for cover if you will not have it when you need it most?
And your consultant and said 85 not 65 as in the policy documents. And the understanding with him was that I want to have a look at the documents he will send and only then make a decision... which is NO.

They told me to fill in a cancellation form and i did. all done by the 1st of October. yet they still debited me on the 1st of Nov fora policy i specifically said i do NOT want.
