I recently joined Capitec Bank (about a month ago) after returning from the UK and I don't have any serious issues to complain about. One thing that has just happened to me though is that I wanted to purchase an item online, but my card didn't work. I left it for a while and about 3 hours later I tried to book a room online, but this also failed. Both the item and the room were sold out within the next couple of hours. I proceeded to phone Capitec and they told me I needed to register for online shopping - first I'd heard of it. I appreciate the added security, but it would have been nice to know this when I first opened the account, or if it was displayed somewhere on your website so that I could have registered a lot sooner - instead I am now very frustrated at losing out on two purchases. I guess I just have to get used to 3rd world banking again.
