I bought a smartphone through FNB and wanted to insure it with them as well, as they offered the best premium per month, so i phoned them early in September and requested a quote and all the documentation needed to sign up. After about a week or so I had to ask for the quotes/documents again before receiving them (17 September). I filled in and sent back all the docs as requested the following day, (This was 18th September) and to this day I haven't received any notifications as to whether or not my device is insured... I have also sent a mail asking them if it is insured about a 2 weeks ago and still I have not even received a reply on that... This is very poor customer service on their part, and I am not happy about this. Hopefully I will receive a response now (after having complained) and my device will be insured.
