Unacceptable premium increase from FNB

I got an email from FNB stating that my premium will be increasing from R42 by R37..meaning ill be paying around R80 for a Note 2, furthermore, they say their price increase is due to the current economic situation AND the amount the premium is increasing with has taken into consideration the device insured amount, i called the call centre, and no assistance, i could not get any answers from the consultant.
If my device was insured for R42 @ R8000, how can it now be insured for R80@ an amount less than R8000 because the value of the device has certainly decreased..so was the device amount really considered?
FNB please clarify, you claim that your premiums dont change & less than 6 months down the line they change?
This is unacceptable!
