My wallet was at the Mall on the 28th, I stopped my card on the same day with Standard Bank, however to my dismay, my card was still being swiped at tollgates, I called to enquire how this could be possible and I was told that even if the card is stopped, it can still be used due to the floor limit that is allowed, I opened a case, and I was told it would take 10 to 14days to be resolved, in the meantime the was still swiping my card everyday to the point that my account became overdrawn, now SB was sending me voice messages telling me that I am overdrawn and I should make arrangments to pay? I hae followed up numerous times I have been to the branch twice and all I can be told is that the claim is still under investigation a monthn later? My debit orders have now bounced because of this, at this point in time I want NOTHING to do with SB, they are the worst Bank ever with the worst customer service I have ever experienced, I just want to close thiis account as soon as they have resolved my query.
