I lodged an insurance claim for a burglary at home. The assessor finalised his report and Quicksure subsequently finalised the payment for loss. This was a long and slow process. I queried the basis for calulation as it seemed low. Upon reviewing the calculations I noticed that the calculation was done on a much lower sum insured value and the average method was used. This is unacceptable as I submitted an updated inventory list to the broker in August 2013. I have proof of the email and read receipt. Between the insurer and the broker, someone needs to take the loss and ensure that the correct payout is done as if my policy was updated, I would have not suffered a further loss due to insurance payout. The broker has advised that she will query with the underwriting department as the updated invetory list was sent. The broker fails to provide me feedback with the status of this. I chatted to Monique and she advised that the updated list was not sent by the broker and they not going to approve it. Unfortunately I dont care as to what was done by who or not. Then, the broker advised me that Quicksure was going to resolve full payment. I am still waiting feedback or returned calls
