My Vehicle STILL is not with a Panel Beate

I had an accident on Friday evening 22-11-2013

The very next morning I called my Brokerage, Integricall Insurance Brokers - to report my claim and duly followed instruction regarding what details and documentation I needed to send through.

I subsequently took my vehicle to TC Panel beaters for a quotation and the service I received was excellent. A gentleman by the name of Craig assisted me with all my needs. I got a quote from them the same day (Saturday 23-11-2013)

I got a case number as well and I duly emailed everything to my brokerage.

This is where my nightmare began. Firstly, I don't know why I am paying broker fees as I submitted ALL documentation to the broker AND my insurer, followed up in my personal capacity with my insurer, without once being assisted by the brokerage.

It has been two weeks since my accident, and I STILL have my vehicle in my possession.

The assessor appointed by QUICKSURE did not properly assess my vehicle and the dumbest thing he overlooked.

The estimate by the panel beater to repair the vehicle came to nearly R25k, the approved claim from my insurer was only R8k. The assessor recommended non-genuine vw parts be used

This is unacceptable
