Extremely slow response on claims

On the 8th jan I submitted a claim for 2 damaged rim to my broker - Vital Consulting. I received my claim form, same completed by myself and returned to them on the morning of the same day. I received my claim number from BSG saying that they are requesting a digital assessment as well as requesting photographs from me.
On the 9th Jan, the following day, my photographs were submitted to both my broker and BSG where BSG advised that an assessor was to be appointed. On 13th January my broker requested feedback, with no response. On the 21st Jan I emailed my broker for some feedback which she forwarded and requested from BSG on the 22nd Jan. 24th Jan we rec'd an email from my broker where BSG requested my drivers licence and SAPS case no. It took 16 days for them to ask for this information. On the same day, the drivers licence was sent - I have no case number. On this same email requesting the information it was mentioned that BSG noticed that only the rims were damaged and to note that cover for rims are excluded under policy. I honestly thought that insurance was to cover accidents - the same reason I am trying to submit a claim. I would appreciate having my claim finalized.
