Wesbank
Deceived into signing a wrong contract

Business & Finance

Five years ago I purchased a car from Peugeot on what I believed was s five year instalment purchase and I was looking forward to my last installment end of November. I checked my statement to confirm the final amount, only to find oout that I have to pay a Balloon payment of R32.000, I never would have agreed to that and I remember paying a deposit because the sales person said that by paying a deposit and selecting the monthly installment option means I do not have to make any additional Balloon payment. I remember this because I shopped around and the other Dealer at Volkswagen gave me that option and I turned it down. At least they were honest, unlike Peugeot and Wesbank. I definetly would have turned down the offer if the Terms and Conditions were clearly explained to me as a First time buyer. And now here is the payment that I did not plan for or include in my budget because your saes people were more concerned about making a Sale and Deceived me into signing a contract that I would have otherwise rejected. I amd upset and very much dissapointed, and I regret making a deal with you.
