In June I bought a Greyhound bus ticket for R930 and the person that assisted me, put the transaction on the OTA 6 month plan instead of the normal 12 month plan. My installment shot up to over R1000 from a R226. I made a payment of R1300 into my account to off set the R930 debit, before receiving my statement but my installment was still high. I have inquired about this at the store and spoke to Monique at customer care when I received the second incorrect statement, she gave me an estimate payment of about R362; and I paid R400. She said that my account will be corrected. I still had to pay R428.81 on a balance of about R2300 after the correction. I have logged a complaint on the Jet website and emailed Tiisetso Moloi on 1/10/13 and nothing has been done about this. For 3 months I have been paying an installment based on a 6 month calc and not the 12 month plan that was agreed on. My November statement reflects a closing balance of R2008, yet my installment is R428. I would like my account back on the agreed 12 month plan and credited with the extra interest that I have been paying from June/July 2013. Who gave you the right to change my account payment plan from 12 to 6 months?
