Virgin Insurance
No progress getting vehicle hail damage repaired

Business & Finance

I was asked by Virgin to take my vehicle (Toyota Fortuner) to AutoMagic on Tuesday 15 Jan 2013, which I did, for hail damage repairs from Nov 2012. AutoMagic immediately started working on the hail damage.By end of Friday 18 Jan 2013 the hail damage that could be repaired using the conventional way was complete. But as there were more serious damage to my vehicle's roof, which required panel beating and repainting to repair, AutoMagic had to get a second authorization to continue on this work. Since Monday 21 Jan 2013, untill today, 29 Jan 2013, my vehicle have been standing at AutoMagic, awaiting Virgin Insurance to give the authorization to continue with this work. After speaking to the AutoMagic panel beating department today (29 Jan), I was advised my vehicle have just been pulled out of AutoMagic and pulled back in at the end of each day, as AutoMagic are NOT allowed to continue repairs untill Virgin has given the authorization. This is complete, utter appalling service! For 9 days my vehicle have been at Auto Magic, no go ahead, this after I have called Virgin multiple times, asking for updates, reasons why this happened, rather than Virgin me, and still NO progress at ALL!!
