Over 2 months to repair hail damage

I sent my car in for repairs f hail damage on the 26 Nov 2012. I have not received my car yet. i've received an update from the Panelbeater that it will be ready on the 01 Feb 2013. Global hail (selected by Virgin ins) damaged my car further (over pressed out dents on Doors & Fenders, damaged door panel, damaged door lock). it was then sent to panelbeaters who have had to repair the new damage and the hail that Global Hail couldn't fix. Virgin insurance was unhelpful with regards to the extended period required for the repairs and the expiry of my car hire. I eventually had to escalte my problem to their escaltion department and after numerous calls was told that the car hire would be extended until repairs are completed. Virgin insurance are unhelpful and have no customer service standards. They have requested the panelbeater to repair doors instead of repalce as requested by repairer (which would have saved time and i could have my car back) and have excuses for every decision they are making in this regard. I would not suggest this insurer to anyone. It isn't worth the fees you pay or the money that you think you are saving, as they treat their clients like "ignorant fools
