I got a call last Friday from a consultant wanting to speak to my father about his lapsed policy. I proceeded to query this matter as I have a policy under my father's name that I pay for! At the end of this query, it turns out the original consultant sold me a policy which doesn't pay out if a client has pre-existing medical conditions. I had, on the call stated that my father was diabetic & has HBP but the consultant sold me this policy anyway. I have been paying this policy since 2012 and only by default do I hear that in the end there would have been no payout!!! The consultant then proceeded to try &sell me a funeral policy (which is what I originally wanted). When I requested a Manager/ Supervisor I was advised that they are unavailable &my details have been handed to the Supervisor &that s/he would contact me before the close of business that day. It has been a weekend &2 days since this incident with no call, 2day CLife has the gore to send me an sms saying that my premium has increased!! REALLY?? How about resolving my issue first before telling me about premiums that have gone up for a policy that is absolutely useless to me and my family in the time should we ever need
