Outsurance
Outsurance - You will struggle to get anything out

Business & Finance

4 months ago an Outsurance client bumped into the back of my car with his vehicle. He was apologetic and speedily provided all the necessary details to make a third party claim. I went to the police station and contacted Outsurance to submit the claim.
The submission form stated that it would be my responsibility to follow up with them in order to ensure that the claim is given attention. At this point I knew that I was in for a struggle. In the past 4 months I sent several emails and have probably made more than 12 phone calls to make sure that this case progresses. Even after pointing out that I am an outsurance home insurance client, they still treated me like a nuisance. I called several times to get an appointment for the damage to be assessed and again to find out if they received the assessment.
Up front I mentioned that I used my car for work and would need to be compensated for the time it takes for the repairs to be done. After 4 months I get an "offer" for R5000 with no mention of car hire. I responded to the email on 16 October and received no response. Who will reimburse me for all the time im wasting. This is not Treating Customers Fairly. Claim Ref 98932906
