WARNING - DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS CARD

Years ago we were offered an upgrade to Platimun Card with wonderful benefits from free Parker Ink Pens to fantastic deals with Car Rentals, better exchange rates etc., etc. Got the Parker Pen ONLY ONCE... the car rental deals are a joke as we have heard every excuse in the book - and then also why we couldn't use the points, better exchange rates, that is also a fallacy - in fact at OT airport in July we heard a million excuses it was pathetic. Next, plenty plenty of stores - shops do not accept this card which includes some of the large chain stores. Now we come to the points they offer you, this is also a joke. Today I was told I can go shopping in Sandton with my points - why would I do that when I live 400 kilometers away? Tried to cash in points for their annual bank charges as they promise you can do, but some new excuse - don't have enough!!! For those of you out there planning on up grading to this card DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE ENORMOUS ANNUAL FEES AS THE SERVICE OFFERED IS NOT WHAT IT IS CRACKED UP TO BE. STICK TO VISA OR MASTER AT LEAST YOU DON'T FEEL AS IF YOU ARE BEING TAKEN TO THE CLEANERS.
