How do you now calculate your points?

Called the call centre, had push a number of buttons to get through to have the phone dropped in my ear... According to the website the following is correct: "You get 10 points for every R100 you spend. These are called base points. You can also accumulate points through various other ways while shopping at Edgars - these are called bonus points" AND "During our 10X promotions you can earn ten times the number of points you normally would. So when you spend R100 you would normally earn 1000 points. However, during the 10X promotion you will earn ten times this amount - which gives you 10 000 points". This is on: [URL Removed] Which one is it now? 10 points for R100 or 1000 points for R100. I used to have a purple cash card. After spending R4000 I would receive a number of R50 vouchers. Now, after spending almost more than this, I only have R35. This makes it a definite waste of time. Rather go to Truworths then... If it iis 10 points for R100 I must spend R100 000 to have 10 000 points that is equal to R10. Bring back my purple cash card. That was real cash back.
