I put in a claim for the repair of my Samsung Galaxy S4. The phone was picked up by Starplex on the 30th of September. I did receive my phone on Thursday 10th of October. To my dismay, my phone has no mobile network when I insert my simcard. I cannot text, call or use the internet. I have tested my simcard in someone else's phone and it works perfectly. From what I can see, when comparing it to another Samsung S4, the slot where the simcard goes in, is skew. I do not know if this could be the problem but I had no network problems before I sent the phone in for repairs. I am very disappointed in the service I have received from Starplex and this is so frustrating as I now have a phone with no mobile network. I am not prepared to pay another R500 excess as this is not my fault. I did inform Starplex with regards to the above problem. On Thursday 10th of October and they did inform me that they will pick up the phone early this morning (Monday 14th October) and will deliver it the afternoon again. They only picked up my phone now (12:35) which means I will not receive my phone later today. I do understand that I am not their only client, but then empty promises should not be made.
