Why no response & still deducting premiums

Good day,

I recently contacted Avbob to understand what can be done once a funeral cover pay out amount has been reached without any claims, I was told by their consultant that I should continue paying well not that this makes sense so I said I dont understand cant the policy be revised and changes be done on cover to meet client somewhere the answer was no. I then indicated I wanted to cancel since I was now paying R90 per monthing for nothing since I have already surpassed my clain payout amount. She said I should cancel, I then wrote a letter to cancel and emailed it and faxed it, on the 21st Jan 2013 yet to date no one has confirmed receipt and actioning of the cancellation & a premuim was still deducted for the cover. Can my premium be refunded and policy cancelled, I hate how insurances dont care about their old clients but make comprises for new clients.
