On the 20th of September 2013 we put a claim through ABSA insurance after strong wind on 19th of September 2013 damaged the roof of our house and several dwellings in our area. Their assessors took 3 days to respond after countless calls and staying in a house with roof half open.

On 23rd September 2013 Insurance assessors came to assess the damage we were told to expect feed back after a few days now its two weeks we still not getting any feedback from ABSA after several calls no one is giving us an answer. This is unacceptable service from ABSA.

I believe such problems should have been dealt with fairly urgent 3 weeks with out any information from ABSA, I have already started fixing the roof on my own due to slow response. The Wind Storm that blew our area was even declared a disaster by Provincial Government after causing damage to property all over the area.
