Claim rejected due to late submission

I was robbed of my cellphone on Sat 24.08.13 while on the taxi on my way to work. I immediately went to MTN Canal Walk to query what I needed to have to claim from the insurance. I was told to return the Monday. I went back the Monday and was told to get a case number and they handed me a claim form. As I could not get off from work the Monday I went to the police station on Tuesday 27.08.13. I had to wait an extra day to get the case number. I finally submitted my claim and after going back to MTN a week later I to get feedback on my claim I was then told to get an affidavit from the police station which I promptly did. About a month later after getting shunted by MTN I finally called 24hr mobility call center myself and was told my claim has been rejected due to late submission and also the claim was sent to underwriters for a final decision. This was 2 weeks ago and I have sill no answer. the reason the claim was submitted late was due to the incompetence of the MTN canal walk staff not myself.
