FNB - How can we NOT help you?

25 September. Quick trip to Lichtenburg - a 200km round trip - to take my dog for check-up and injections. No time for shopping, but have to draw money to pay gardener month end. ATM's at FNB not able to dispense any money, after waiting in queue. Frustrated, drive to Spar shop where there is an ATM. Same problem, and more disgruntled FNB clients. Drive to Burgersdorp Spar... same problem... FNB ATM not dispensing ANY amount! Therefore forced to use another bank's ATM. MY bank cannot provide service, but MY bank will levy a charge for using a competitor's ATM. In other words, MY bank penalises me because it CANNOT provide any service. GO FIGURE!
