Spar
Not good for you, not My Spa

I frequent (or at least I used to) the Spar Shop n Bag on Ouklip road just because it's conveniently on my way home from work. The other day, I went there as normal, selected my goods and proceeded to the till. There was not a single cashier behind any till. A woman dressed in a Spar uniform of sorts (I assume she is a customer service person) saw me standing and waiting and all she could do is look around and say Eish!

It is unfortunate that this happened. I am now forced to drive an extra 5 kilometers to get to a Checkers or Pick n Pay instead. I will not go to this Spar (nor any other Spar) again. And in all honesty, the extra travelling is worth it as the service EVERYWHERE else is better.
