This is why they are a bank

I had a blue bean credit card and standard bank bank account about 10 years back. Out of the blue about 1yr ago they called me to tell me I owed them money, I thought this account was settled. I agreed to start paying back a monthly installment until it is sorted out. Now all of a sudden after paying the account every month as agreed I'm being listed as in arrears when in fact I've been up to date. When I called STD Bank and asked why I'm now being listed and not in the past they tell me it was a system error???!? For 10yrs it was an error and now they want to make their error my problem. I Feel its a disgrace to make this problem mine all of a sudden especially because I'm paying, if they told me 10 yrs ago I would have fixed this already. I understand that i owe them money but to list me after 10 years because of their incompetence is really aggravating.

This is exactly why I cancelled my accounts with this bank. Bunch of useless incompetent people. They should take some lessons from FNB!!!
