LONG DELAY IN OBTAINING CONFIRMATION OF TRANSFER

I made two payments to Ethekwini Municipality this afternoon in order to get my rates clearance for a property transfer.
The attorney asked that I do the payments urgently, and send through proof of payment.
The payments were done on the Standard Bank website an hour ago, I am STILL awaiting the e-mailed confirmation from Standard Bank so that I can send to transferring attorneys.
