Debit Order can't be stopped

I went under debt councelling, went into a FNB branch to cancel my debit orders as instructed, the consultant told me he can't stop the westbank debit order. I have sent a letter instructing Westbank to stop deducting, against the law according to the credit act. No response from Westbank
