Wesbank
Paying for a car that is not in my name

Business & Finance

Current incident with Westbank and Nissan:
o I had 2 x VW Polo's 2009 models
o 1 x sedan
o 1 x hatchback
o In 2010 I traded in the sedan for a Nissan Navara at Nissan East Rand.
o I kept the hatchback and assumed I had been paying for this car over the last 3 years
o I called for a settlement value 2 weeks ago to find out that the car I have been paying for is the sedan I traded in for the Navara in 2010.
o The Vin and engine number prove this.
o I would like to have this resolved, but Westbank and Nissan do not seem to be able to do this.
o I have had a number of updates telephonically and via email from Westbank, who now say they are waiting for Nissan to agree to the mistake.

Past incident with Nissan. (Westbank were also involved here)
o In October 20011, there was an issue when I tried to license my hatchback, only to find out that it was not on my name anymore. I had a lot of difficulty with Nissan to sort out the problem. I assumed it was resolved, only to find out more details (as mentioned above) 2 weeks ago.
