ZERO TOLERANCE STINKS!

Since 1990 I have registered 5 bonds with Std Bank and recently applied for a 6th. I have 4 current, a business, 2 bond accounts and a large investment portfolio with them. After completing and submitting all documentation, the ONLY call I received in regard to my app, was when a consultant called to cheerfully inform me that it had been declined. At no stage did anyone call me to discuss their queries - all easily explainable - the app was simply declined. I was informed that I should call the sales/after sales call centre. No one there could shed any more light other than to repeat the queries listed on the "system" and that the app was declined and therefore "closed". Is this how Std Bank treat their loyal clients? Dont you want my business? If you wont qualify me on the amount applied for, how about offering a lower amount? How about discussing your queries with me? Can I speak to the person who dealt with my app? Nope, none of the above - case closed - finish and klaar.
I have applied to another bank who are assisting me with my application. Once its approved, I will be switching all my business, including my bonds, to that bank - finish and klaa
