Declined bond application

I have been banking with FNB since mid 2010 and have been happy so far with the service that the bank has given. We have recently gone house hunting and identified a property that would meet our requirments. Applied for the bond and were informed that they required a 10% deposit and were not willing to reconsider. The bond is being applied for through a bond originator, but as FNB clients we expected more. This is after all the bank with the pay off line how can we help you? We understand the market has changed and most banks dont offer 100% bonds, but we are financially sound people and would not want to endebt ourselves beyond our means. I expected that should FNB doubt this ability they should atleast pick up the phone and give us a chance to show them that we can. Frustrated and hopeless to say the least??? Nowhere to go from here.
