Ond application declined

We have had a bond with Absa for the past 10 yrs and have recently decided to sell our house, we submitted a new bond application to ABSA for a home we would like to purchase, and this was declined. We have been loyal customers for 10yrs and have never defaulted on a payment once! in fact we have been paying R500 extra every month for the past cpl years and yet we were declined on affordability! We decided to buy a new home because we can afford the new repayments! and would like to better our living situation! We are very disappointed in absa as we believed you were the bank for us. We have applied to rival banks who are looking at giving us a bond and once that has been approved we are going to cancel the accounts we have with Absa and have no further dealings with u ppl again!!! If this is how you treat loyal customers i hate to see how you treat people who default on paying their bonds.
