I went to deposit money at the bank. When I got to the teller I was told the reference number is not working correctly. I was told by the teller to call the company to resolve this. I proceeded to call the company inside the bank to confirm the correct details. Then a rude staff member came over to me and just told me rudely I cannot use my phone in the bank. I told her there is a way you can ask me to do this as this was a bank related matter. Needless to say I was furious as the bank did not offer to me to use their phones to make the call. This breeds of incompetence and just poor staff management. I filed a complaint with the branch manager and she was just very casual about everything when I asked what she is going to do to make sure this does not happen again. I saw the staff member laughing about the whole thing like it is an everyday occurrence to speak to bank clients in this manner. I would like some proper action to be taken to ensure this does not happen again. This is not the first time I have had bad service from this bank and some staff members. Please make sure your staff members are trained properly with good people skills.
