I am honestly disappointed with the service i received from Miway insurance. I joined them on the 22 August 2013 where i was offered a zero excess insurance contract. I received a letter on the 1 September 2013, hardly 3 weeks stating that my excess is now R3300.00. I fail to understand how can my contract change in 3 weeks from zero excess to R3300.00. This was not communicated to me when i took the contract with them that my excess will change in three weeks. I spoke to three client services and all of them speak different stories but they are all from the same company, it is really pathetic.
I was then told that it is either i agree to the excess of R3300.00 or my premiums will increase. They gave me another option of making my excess R1000.00 and also increase my premium. I am unhappy with their service.
